Damned math.
With all due respect to those who believe in BS, after Tuesday night the race is over. Not because “the system” is rigged. Not because Hillary cheated. Not because Debbie Wasserman-Schultz changed a rule in a smokey back room. Not because millionaires and billionaires and the media and the establishment and stole the election.
It will be over because of math.
Boring math. Cold, heartless, unemotional math.
You can debate policy, you can debate character, you debate who is the stronger candidate, but you cannot argue about math.
Math is math. 1+1 = 2. There is no getting around it.
After Tuesday night Hillary will have more total votes, more states won and more pledged delegates. She will also have more Super Delegates committed to voting for her at the convention. Hillary will have beaten Bernie, fair and square, according to the rules as written when BS stepped in the race.
If people want to push the BS argument that Super Delegates should ignore the math, overturned the will of the voters and rig the system to elect the election loser that is one thing . Fine, you can argue about that. If you want to spend the summer cheering for Hillary to be indicted that is another argument. Either would be a total BS move in my opinion based on what I have seen over the past several weeks but whatever.
There will be things to argue about I suppose but to anyone who quarrels with the math...I call bullshit.
I’m with Her.
