Here’s Hillary Clinton’s speaking on becoming the Democratic nominee for president—the first woman to secure the nomination of a major party. Talk about it.
"Let there be no mistake: Sen. Sanders... and the debate we've had... have been good for the Democratic Party." -- Hillary #ImWithHer— Charles Clymer (@cmclymer) June 8, 2016

We should lift each other upâÂÂnot tear each other down. To be great, we canâÂÂt be small. We have to be as big as the values that define us.— Hillary Clinton (@HillaryClinton) June 8, 2016
We should lift each other upâÂÂnot tear each other down. To be great, we canâÂÂt be small. We have to be as big as the values that define us.
This is a full-throated call for unity, a great contrast to the “victory” speech we saw from Trump earlier tonight.
“We are in this together. It really does take a village to raise a child. And to build a stronger future for us all.” There couldn’t be a clearer contrast to the politics of division Trump completely embodies. Nice bit about how her mother taught her to “not back down from a bully.”
How cool is this? "On the very day my mother was born, Congress was passing the 19th Amendment to the Constitution”
This was probably the best speech I’ve ever seen her give. It was gracious toward Bernie Sanders, and made a strong case for unity and it laid out as clearly as possible the stark contrasts of this election.
