It seems that words do have consequences after all. Michael Folk, the dirtbag West Virginia Republican lawmaker who wanted Hillary Clinton to be hanged has been suspended from his job as a United Airlines pilot.
According to a story on Bloomberg News:
“This pilot has been removed from flying pending our investigation,” United Continental Holdings Inc. tweeted Sunday. “We are appalled by his threatening comments.”
Here’s the actual tweet:
The airline isn’t the only one appalled. CNN contacted Folk, but he refused to comment, saying he was being “hyperbolic.” His original tweet (since deleted) said Clinton should be tried for treason then “hung on the mall in Washington, D.C.”
The West Virginia Democratic Party called for Folk’s resignation from the state House of Delegates. Again, according to Bloomberg:
“Not only are Delegate Folk’s words concerning, they are disturbing,” Belinda Biafore, the party’s chair, said in a statement Saturday. “Folk’s actions should deem him as unfit to serve.”
BTW, it’s “hanged,” not “hung.” Guy can’t even get his grammar right.
