Some great news from the weekly NBC/SM tracking poll. Hillary leads. No bounce for Trump.

Donald Trump received no significant bounce following the Republican National Convention, according to the latest NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll. Hillary Clinton still leads Trump by a single point: 46 percent to 45 percent. These numbers are unchanged from last week.
And check out these little tidbits in the polling. A plurality of Independents didn't like Trump’s divisive acceptance speech.
Trump's convention speech, which was received well by Republicans watching the event, did not sit as well with Independents. Just 30 percent of Independents who watched the speech said it was excellent or good, 29 percent said it was "just okay" and a 40 percent plurality said it was poor or terrible.
Folks, this guy is repellent to independent voters.
For most voters, the convention either did not impact their impression of the Republican Party or made them feel less favorable to the GOP as a result (37 percent and 36 percent, respectively). Just a quarter said they now view the GOP more favorably. Among Independent voters, 42 percent now have a less favorable view of the Republican Party following the convention.
Some of these Trump got a bounce polls, like the CBS and CNN polls are predicting an electorate that will be whiter than 2012. 76% or more turnout for whites. That’s not happening.
The share of white turnout has been on the decline for the last couple of decades. 72% white turnout in 2012. You can expect that number to continue falling, while PoC participation is on the rise.
Romney won whites 59%-39% in 2012. We all remember the result of that election. The Democratic Party has a decided advantage in this election. If we stick together and fight hard for our values, we win.
