Over seventy leading Republicans cannot think of a tax cut or a Benghazi that could save the Trump campaign. A letter is being circulated demanding Chairman Reince Priebus stops spending any money to help Donald Trump and that he shift those funds to Senate and House races.
More Republicans plan to indicate their approval to the letter by tongue, tax cut or nodding to Republican Jesus over the coming week.
For now, Red State has never been funnier to read. Just remember when reading their comments, they think the solution to the GOP problems would have been to select Ted Cruz.
The draft according to politico reads
“We believe that Donald Trump’s divisiveness, recklessness, incompetence, and record-breaking unpopularity risk turning this election into a Democratic landslide, and only the immediate shift of all available RNC resources to vulnerable Senate and House races will prevent the GOP from drowning with a Trump-emblazoned anchor around its neck,” states a draft of the letter obtained by POLITICO. “This should not be a difficult decision, as Donald Trump’s chances of being elected president are evaporating by the day.”
Red State commentators are furious with themselves. Even a tax cut paid for by taking food from a million starving people could not satisfy them.

Every Republican should be asking for this. Giving money to Trump is equivalent to burning it in a bonfire.

Lies, a bonfire at least keeps you warm.

Answer: Anyone but trump.
Question: Which Republican candidate could have easily won the presidency, protected down-ticket candidates and won additional seats?

This is what makes me so angry I literally shake.
We had a golden opportunity to win the White House with the deepest bench in recent memory AND hold both houses of Congress.
We could have had Cruz or Rubio (hell, at this point, I'd even take Jeb), but NOOOOO....a bunch of "angry" white trash bigots insisted on this embarrassing reality show clown with less accumulated knowledge about the issues, political philosophy, and government than a middle school civics student.
THEY flushed this election down the toilet, and now we all have to suffer for it.
I'm not just angry. I'm offended. I have a degree in government. I spent a lifetime keeping up with current events and the problems our country faces. I named my daughter after Ronald Reagan, for crying out loud (Reagan is her middle name). And THIS is who voters select to represent our movement? I won't type any expletives here, but you can imagine what I want to say about that!
They don't get their Cheeto-colored messiah. Not if I have anything to say about it. They don't get to install this vulgar, puerile buffoon in the White House to disgrace the entire nation. He isn't fit to clean the toilets, let alone be president.
Maybe Hillary is just as unfit..but she isn't running with an R after name.
I want to see Trump crushed, and I want to hear his supporters howl in pain. I can't wait. I'm going to ENJOY it. And I want any Republican official cowardly enough to support him to go down to inglorious defeat, as well.
I don't know if we start a new party or rebuild the GOP from the ashes after Trump's destruction, but destroyed he must be...him AND his flunkies.

I almost wish these folks would not bother to do this. Trump's goose is cooked no matter what and since I'm looking for a total annihilation and destruction of the alt-Righters and the 'conservatives' who supported Trump because Anger, I don't want to give these brain-dead miscreants any ammunition to say "well...we lost because the "Establishment' hosed us.
To which the proper response would be "no, you lost because your candidate was a walking. talking disaster."
I 100% agree with someone from Red State.

The Trump ship with the RNC on board is already halfway to the bottom of the ocean, and for some reason there are some still trying to bail out water.

They're bailing while Trump keeps lighting off scuttling charges.
