A Monmouth University poll conducted Aug. 12 - 15 shows Hillary Clinton leading by 9 points in Florida: 48% Clinton, 39% Trump, 6% Johnson and 1% Stein, with 5% undecided.
Hillary also wins 92% of Democrats, and 69% of Hispanic, black, and Asian voters. The favorable are underwater for both candidates, with Hillary at 36-50 (-14) and Trump at 33-54 (-21).
Also importantly, Hillary wins on both the questions of who best handles Economy/Jobs and Terrorism, narrowly leading by 3 points in both.
Rubio still leads Murphy, 48-43, which seems consistent with other polling.
Coming this far away from this conventions, this is great news. It’s also worth noting that Trump has not led a single Florida poll since July 10, and also that this was an LV poll. It goes without saying that there’s no road to victory for Donald Trump that doesn’t include Florida.
