Donald Trump found a raucous Florida crowd of 10,000 irresistible Friday evening, so he decided to ditch that stupid script and unleash his real foreign policy ideas. Nick Corasaniti reports:
With regard to Iran, which Mr. Trump has spoken of antagonistically, he suggested that should the country harass a United States vessel, he would respond with force.
He also referred to the episode in January in which Iran seized two United States Navy patrol boats and accused them of spying.
“By the way, when Iran, when they circle our beautiful destroyers with their little boats,” Mr. Trump said, “and they make gestures at our people that they shouldn’t be allowed to make, they will be shot out of the water.”
Go, Donnie, go! Don't let that teleprompter get you down.
Naturally, Trump went on to accuse of Hillary Clinton of being "trigger-happy" and “an unstable person,” cuz he's the one who clearly possesses the sound judgment.
Honestly, Trump’s latest journey off script was full of trigger references. He also charged that Hillary could “shoot” someone and not be held accountable. Just makes me shake my head: This guy’s a lunatic who, left to his own devices, gets in front of a revved-up crowd in a concealed carry state and starts slinging references to guns and shooting people and blowing people out of the water. This is the GOP nominee.
