Mika Brzenzinski has been urging women to “know their value,” to empower themselves in the workplace. She has written a book on the subject, and conducted tours, workshops and other events.
The book and the tour are, in the “movement’s” own words,
part of a nationwide movement to empower women in the workplace.

In other words, Mika Brzenzinski makes a lot of money and gains a lot of fame telling women that if they are smart enough, prepared enough, and promote themselves effectively, they too can be successful. They can achieve their dreams. They can do whatever they want.
Yet today, when speaking about the debate, she argues in direct contradiction to this message of empowerment for women. She says,
Clinton was perfect but sometimes that doesn't matter, esp. when it comes to men and women going to job interviews

So Mika, when you’re out trying to make money off of women who seek to advance themselves, you say that if they are “perfect,” they will succeed.
Yet when judging the presidential debate of the first woman candidate of a major party, you say that her perfection “doesn’t matter.”
Winning the debate doesn’t matter.
Having more experience doesn’t matter.
When it comes to competing against a guy who obviously knows nothing and is clearly a bullsh*t artist, we women should just roll up the tent and go home.
Should we not bother spending money on your book or your workshop or your tours? Because let’s face it, “especially when it comes to men and women going to job interviews,” it really doesn’t matter if the woman’s best.
The guy will take it every time.
Pure inspiration you’ve got going there, Mika.
