In the old days there are romans à clef—they are interesting and enjoyable because you can substitute real life people into the novel because of certain hints in them. Yes, there’s a hint of voyeurism as well, but that was before people had porn videos, and their imaginations were much keener.
Today we have a review of a new Hitler biography. The reviewer doesn’t have to mention Trump’s name at all, but almost every sentence in that review can be applied to Trump today, with minor changes in events and dates.
