Received this e-mail today from U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill’s (D. MO) re-election campaign:
Today is Earth Day, and I’m thinking about all the Missourians who have reached out to share with me their concerns about climate change and its impacts on the health of our families and communities in Missouri. They see the droughts that make life tough for farmers, the heat waves that get hotter every summer, the increased flooding – and they’re worried about what these changes mean for their futures.
But EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt refuses to look at the science – or the changes happening in our own backyards. And he’s not lifting a finger to help the families whose health is threatened by climate change.
We can’t let him ignore reality while Missouri families are at risk. Will you add your name and tell Scott Pruitt to stop ignoring science and start protecting our environment?

Thanks for speaking out.
