Saturday was an overcast day with a forecast for intermittent rain in the Pittsburgh area. We still managed to turn out a thousand or so folks to march for the future of the planet. I wish it had been more, but I guess a lot of people didn’t want to take a chance of melting. One Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh United, Pittsburgh Climate Movement, Allegheny Group of the Sierra Club, Sierra Club Pennsylvania Chapter and Communitopia were all involved in putting the march together.
I wish I could say “great fun was had by all.” But, as long as that depraved orange animated talking sphincter is busy crapping all over the country and the Constitution, protest has become more of a duty than a social event. Enough talk — here are the pictures (with a focus on signage).
