Trump is naming an awful lot of people that hold views that are diametrically opposite from the office they are named to hold. With naming Bannon as his ‘Chief Strategist’ (the person that’s going to be whispering into Trump’s ear, along with the son-in-law, and telling Trump what to do cause Trump is so far out of his league and easily manipulated), and statements already made, it’s obvious the direction that the Trump administration is going to take and it’s not a good one. They want to see the United States burn to the ground and turn into 50, or more countries (fifedoms more like it).
This is what a ‘friend’ of mine said on a facebook post 11/11/16 (I’ve since de-friended him): For me, I'm rocking it! For me 'hope and change' have finally arrived! Big government and Political Correctness are Orwellian tools of tyranny that hopefully will be crushed under the boots of the millions of missing voters that finally found a candidate that speaks to and for them. Trump's not my guy (first Gov Scott Walker then Ted Cruz) but the people Trump has surrounded himself with I like starting with Gov Mike Pence as his VP with his replacement for ObamaCare based on the Indiana Medicaid model.
Yup, felling quite giddy the past few days...
Just remember - Hope and Change are good!
Another friend replied with 11/11/16: Ok I get that you're happy about small government, but what do you mean by orwellian political correctness? I know political correctness can go too far with things like trigger warnings and getting upset if people refer to your significant other with a gendered term, but Donald Trump goes way beyond that he's a misogynist, racist and homophobic bigot. Doesn't that bother you?
This is what we’re up against and I’m not feeling all that optimistic about how things are going to shake out.
The asshole friend and I also had an exchange on the Wed after the election:
Me: Get cracking on limiting government — get rid of all those pesky regulations — what church will I be assigned since we’re officially a ‘christian’ nation?
Asshole: Breath s.l.o.w.l.y into a paper bag until the light-headedness passes.
Better now? Good!
Remember back eight years ago when the Political Left told the rest of us that we had to shut up and take it?
It’s now their turn…. Payback’s a bitch…
Me: Yes women are too stupid to make health care decisions, next it’ll be that we’re too stupid to handle credit again — I know that there are so many republicans want their hands on my half million in assets and my inheritance — let’s get rid of all socialist things like public roads, public schools, public health, public libraries — I don’t use them, I don’t want to pay for them any longer
Asshole: ROTF LMAO! You forgot barefoot and pregnant!!
I don’t know where you keep getting this BS. My advice is, if you have to fabricate such extreme false premises to rationalize your positions, you really need to think about your positions and your premises...
The scary thing is that what I stated could very well come to pass now….. I wish I could say that I’m going to love seeing the look on his face when Medicare and SS are removed. But, he’s 57, so will probably be grandfathered…. which sucks...
We’re in for a world of hurt and not just here in the US, but world wide. Several months ago I started a list of agencies and programs that are visible, and not so visible, that so many depend upon for so many various reasons. With the people being named to positions, I can see some, or all, of these items being either gutted to uselessness, or completely eliminated. Should Pakalolo’s diary come to pass and they ‘sell’ the weather satellites to private corporations, I want absolutely no gov’t employee to do any maintenance, or any money, on them after all they were ‘sold’. Same goes for everything else. I’m sure I’ve missed some, so please add to the list. I’m going to keep reposting this every so often as a reminder.

Zoning laws – I really, really want to build an open shooting range next to a daycare facility and a bar & grill on the other side – just think how convenient it’d be to pick up the toddler and walk next door to pop off a few rounds before heading over to the bar & grill for grub and beer.
