UPDATE: Politico out with a story. House Reps need to hear your voice that “technical violations” that disqualify regular voters in an election are no different than “technical violations” that should disqualify electors (not residing in their district, holding dual office)
Several House Democrats are weighing a formal challenge to Donald Trump’s election on Friday, when Congress meets in joint session to certify Trump’s Electoral College victory.

You want to obstruct, resist, fight? Here's something you can do tomorrow. DEADLINE: TOMORROW
Offered without any research into the validity or vetting of their claims. Check out the article, look at the documents they have posted to the cloud, and make up your own mind if they have a valid point. If you think they do… then call some House and Senate members tomorrow. Time is ridiculously short, so don’t dick around if you’re inclined to make some noise.
Bombshell report claims at least 50 Trump electors are illegitimate — and should not have voted

Why so blase about this, you might ask? Because too many here on Dailykos are too quick to scream “Fantasy!” when presented with Electoral College mechanisms that could legitimately deny Trump the presidency. I lost too much time trying to fix stupid between Nov 8 and Dec 19 to have any desire to go at it again tomorrow with that group.
So... it looks to me like the folks that put this together have done their homework and bring up some pretty good points. Researching individual electors and everything.
I’ll read a little more tomorrow and if I still agree, I’ll be on the phone. Because if Congress doesn’t hear about it, it’s a tree falling in the woods.

If you're going to call tomorrow I would suggest OUTRAGE is the proper emotion to convey to your elected representatives. Hundreds of thousands of real votes by real voters didn't count in November due to "technicalities", but the same rules don't seem to apply to "Republican party elites"

For anyone new to the story and encountering “Naysayers” in the comments, please note the following: the RNC reportedly thought it important enough to replace potentially ineligible electors prior to the Dec 19 Electoral College election.
The GOP plans were thorough. On the day of the vote, they engineered the replacement of more than a dozen Republican electors who were constitutionally disqualified because they held federal positions. In the days leading up to the vote, electors in North Carolina and Texas were treated to a joint dinner. And in Alaska, where a snowstorm threatened electors’ travel to Juneau, the whip team had engineered a backup plan to permit electors to cast their ballot from an alternate location.

So how many “constitutionally disqualified” candidates slipped through? How many are ineligible because they don’t reside in the district that they “represented” in the EC? These are the questions that should be asked and answered prior to certification of the vote by these electors.
Come on Dem Reps and Senators, engage your legal counsel to look into this. Us “bloggers” don’t get paid for this shit, but your legal resources DO.
