Crackpot Theory # 453:
A couple of recent examples of how Donald’s obvious lies are used in a campaign of disinformation to forward a fascistic agenda:
Re Gorsuch: The comments of the SCOTUS nominee to distance himself from the Donald’s comments and the ensuing twitter war on the reporter, Blumenthal, in my opinion is a type of disinformation campaign to peel off D senators who would otherwise oppose the nominee.
Re START: Putin says he wants a quick extension of the New START treaty. (Donald had to ask what it was before replying to him). Is the thought process that this will lull us into feeling we are safe even as we are increasingly militarized/normalized to totalitarianism? Whether Donald is a witting accomplice or not, the intent is to show that a corrupt, totalitarian state run as a criminal enterprise is, meh, maybe not optimal, but acceptable.
The continual harping of voter fraud sows mistrust in our electoral system, making “alternatives” possible. (Can’t trust results of future elections, not seating winners until all the facts are in, etc)
Donald is a dupe who wants power. Bannon and Putin are both Donald whisperers.
These are people who lose in court of public opinion every time, so take power via unsavory means because they can hold enough power to rip off their countries.
The lies are not just “alternate facts”, they are lies not really tweeted because of Donald’s thin skin but as a tactic used to forward a fascistic agenda.
