We now have reports that because of their apparent close ties to the Kremlin the U.S. intelligence services have cut the White House out of the loop on sensitive classified information that could be damaging to the U.S. national security interests.
U.S. intelligence operatives are withholding sensitive information from the White House for the first time in history because they believe that Russia will find out anything they tell Pres. Donald Trump and his aides.
The New York Observer — which is owned by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner — reported Sunday that the intelligence community (IC) is “pushing back” against an administration it believes is incompetent, dishonest, leaky and “penetrated by the Kremlin.”
“Our Intelligence Community is so worried by the unprecedented problems of the Trump administration — not only do senior officials possess troubling ties to the Kremlin, there are nagging questions about basic competence regarding Team Trump — that it is beginning to withhold intelligence from a White House which our spies do not trust,” wrote former analyst for the National Security Agency Jack R. Schindler.
Not only has Trump gone out of his way to discredit the nation’s spy agencies, his main national security guru, Gen. Mike Flynn either appears to by lying about his conversations with the Russian government about U.S. sanctions or can’t remember breaking the law.
This is a person who work for Jared Kushner’s newspaper, who had severely criticized Hillary Clinton and her email server now stating that the Intel Community has no confidence in the Trump regime’s ability to protect classified information from being leaked to Russia.
And still it gets worse.
Schindler states in the above video interview with Jake Tapper that Trump only get his intelligence briefings intermittently and that he has his national security people boil the briefing down to just one page with nine bullet points.
Schindler’s report isn’t the first time we’ve heard of this strategy by U.S. intel, just last month it was reported that our intel agencies were warning the Israelis not to share too much information with Trump because it might pass to Russia and they’d share it with Iran.
US spies warned their Israeli counterparts that Russia may have “levers of pressure” over Donald Trump and told them to be careful about sharing intelligence with the White House in case it was passed on to the Kremlin, according to Israeli media reports,
The American intelligence officials reportedly told the Israelis not to share sensitive information with Mr Trump’s aides until the incoming president’s relationship with Russia had been fully investigated.
The claim was made in the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth and cannot be confirmed.
And we have Nancy Pelosi calling for Michael Flynn to be fired because of his lis about talking about U.S. sanctions with the Russian Ambassador.
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is calling for President Trump's national security adviser, Michael Flynn, to be fired imme"Michael Flynn's conduct was alarming enough before his secret communications with the Russians were exposed," Pelosi said in a statement released Monday.
"Now, we have a National Security Advisor who cannot be trusted not to put Putin before America."
Pelosi said in the statement that the Trump White House "speaks for itself."
Additionally we have Trump sharing classified information about North Korea publicly at a dinner table with Japanese President Abe, using cellphones lights to illuminate the documents in full view of other dinner patrons.
Then, DeAgazio — a retired investor who joined Mar-a-Lago three months ago — got a text from a friend. North Korea had just test-fired a ballistic missile, which it claimed could carry a nuclear warhead. DeAgazio looked over at the president’s table.
“That’s when I saw things changing, you know,” DeAgazio recalled in a telephone interview with The Washington Post on Monday. He said a group of staffers surrounded the two world leaders: “The prime minister’s staff sort of surrounded him, and they had a little pow-wow.”
What was happening — as first reported by CNN — was an extraordinary moment, as Trump and Abe turned their dinner table into an open-air situation room. Aides and translators surrounded the two leaders as other diners chatted and gawked around them, with staffers using the flashlights on their cellphones to illuminate documents on the darkened outdoor terrace.
This people, is complete and total amateur hour. There are so many security breaches going on here all at once that I’m not sure I can count them all. It’s not like they haven’t established secure rooms — with proper lighting — at Mar-A-Lago, they have. But apparently Trump and Co couldn’t be bothered get up get up from the fracking dinner table and go to a secure location before reviewing classified documents in public and discussing matters of national and international nuclear security out. in the. open!!
Holy Jesus Hussein Christ
Remember when FBI Director Comey said Hillary Clinton was “extremely careless” and “showed bad judgement” for using a private email server? Exactly how would he react if she had put the server in the middle of the dinning room at Mar-A-Lago, printed off classified materials and stared at them in public under the illumination of hand held cell phone lights?
Yeah, and some were so worried about “emails”.
