Preet Bharara was fired Saturday after refusing to voluntarily resign his position as US Attorney for the southern district of NY. Today he tweeted “By the way, now I know what the Moreland Commission must have felt like.”. The Moreland commission on Public Corruption was established to look into possible corruption activities in NY, but was shut down by NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo when it started investigating whether the governor or his staff were interfering in it’s investigations. Is Bharara insinuating he was investigating Trump?
