FIGHT BACK. RESIST. DONATE.
We just lost a special election in KS-04, by single digits, in a seat that typically goes GOP by about 30 points. Why is that important? Because the Democratic candidate didn’t get most of the donor money he saw in this race until the last week of the campaign. The national GOP dumped money into the race to blanket the airwaves, Ted Cruz visited to stump for their no-name rubber stamp of a Koch candidate, and Trump and Cruz both recorded telephone ads for the GOP.
I’m going to say it. This was a great result for Democrats, and this was never a race we expected to win but we might actually have won this race if we’d frontloaded our donations instead of backloading them.
There are 6 weeks left in Democrat Rob Quist’s Montana-AL special election campaign, which is against a GOP candidate who already LOST to a Democrat in November. This seat CAN be won--But not if we wait 5 more weeks to engage.
Send $3 NOW to Rob Quist for Montana. Send more, if you can. Please don’t wait. You can’t book ads with money you get in the last week of the campaign. Don’t let the gazillionaires buy this seat too.
That’s great, and all, but you need to know more? OK. Read the rest of why Rob Quist would be OUR voice in Congress:
Please watch and share this 30 second spot. Rob Quist needs folks to see it. Montana needs folks to see it. Democrats need folks to see it. America needs folks to see it.
Rob Quist is our best chance this year to send someone to Congress who is one of us. Rob’s lived life on the ground, not been born to a feathered nest or lined his nest at the expense of others. He knows what it’s like to lose your insurance because you can’t afford it. He knows what it’s like to get behind on the bills because you got sick without insurance and can barely avoid medical bankruptcy.
His gazillionaire opponent dropped $6M last year trying to buy the Governor’s office, and now he’s trying to buy Montana’s only seat in Congress. Rob doesn’t have that kind of money, but we do.
If you chip in a few bucks, and I chip in a few bucks, pretty soon we’re talking about real money. Millions of dollars in small donations. Millions of dollars that speak to the kind of candidate Rob is, and the kind of people we are, and the kind of voice we want to hear in Washington.
