Earlier today the Washington Post broke the story that a senior adviser to Trump was among people investigators in the Trump-Russia case wanted to talk to. Because this “person of interest” was a current member of the White House administration, it eliminated many of the usual suspects: Page, Manafort, and Flynn.
Now The Independent is reporting that the person of interest is Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner:
The Washington Post said a senior adviser to Mr Trump was among people investigators wanted to speak to. A New York magazine reporter then said the person in question was Mr Kushner, 36, who is married to Mr Trump’s eldest daughter and who flew out of Washington on Friday night to accompany the President on his first official foreign trip.
The New York magazine reporter is Yashar Ali, who is confident in his information:
It's jared Kushner have confirmed this with four people. I'm not speculating
Looks like Trump isn’t going to leave his family out of this one either.
