According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll for the period from May 14-May 18, Trump’s approval rating has reached the lowest level since his inauguration. The poll of 1,971 adults found that only 38% approved, while 56% disapproved, with 6% undecided.
But this is the key metric:
Among Republicans, 23 percent expressed disapproval of Trump in the latest poll, up from 16 percent in the same poll last week. The decline in support from Republicans appears to be a primary reason why Trump's overall approval rating is now at the lowest level since he took office.
Keep in mind that this polling terminated on May 18, and was taken before the “nut case” and “senior WH official is a person of interest” revelations. Looks like he may be starting to lose the base. Stay tuned…
