Mitch McConnell and team are under increasing criticism—finally—for trying to jam through Trumpcare in total secrecy, so the number two guy has decided to take a page from popular vote loser Donald Trump and be an asshole on Twitter to Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) who tweeted "No hearings, no women, no Democrats involved. No expert testimony, no listening to healthcare providers. This is legislative malpractice."
That response doesn’t even work for Trump anymore, so how Cornyn thought it would work is a mystery. Hell, even McConnell's caucus of worthless Republicans is bitching about how they're not being included in the process. Maybe somewhere deep in his reptile brain he got that, and decided he needed to add something. So he channels Trump some more.
Look, emulating Trump right now might not be the most effective way to help the Republicans’ cause on this, not when you’re about to take health care away from 23 million people. He needs to take a page from his boss, McConnell, and just clam up. Good thing for the opposition that he’s not smart enough to realize that.
