Good morning! Welcome to the DKos Sangha weekly open thread.
This is an open thread for members of the DKos Sangha and interested visitors who happen by. Each of us has our own path; we come here by way of many different traditions, and of no particular tradition. While the language we use may differ depending on the traditions, teachers, practices, and teachings that have shaped our journeys, we find in common, generally, a search for who we truly are, our true nature, and to bring the peace and compassion born of that search into the greater world of which we are a part. If you wish to share, or if you seek support, or if you simply want to say hello, please do; this space is for you.
The canvas of early morning; the sounds, the feel of cool air upon the skin, sunlight, cloud and sky, the taste of coffee, the breath moving gently within the body. A wisp of a breeze plays through leaves in the branches near where I sit. It is quiet, and peaceful; and still.
It is called the pathless path because we are always already here. All that really separates us from what we seek are patterns of thought.
The teaching - to let go of what you think you know - points the way home.
~~
A light late-afternoon rainfall; its sound connects deeply within, calling to just be here with this.
Letting go of the need to know the answer, or even the need to know the question; just allowing the space for not-knowing, to feel what is here, what is unknown. Just being with the mystery of experience.
~~
So, what is here now?
The invitation is here, to let go, to be present; to be with the rain, to be with the taste of tea, the sounds of food cooking in the kitchen; to be with not-knowing. To open fully to just this experience of being. Just being, here.
Just this.
