Trump is a terrorist. A wolf in gilded sheep’s clothing. The Terrorist in Chief. He incites violence from the pulpit of the highest seat in the land. “Murder by remote-controlled lone wolf.” He’s a Stochastic Terrorist by trade. Trump is a product of years and decades of what Hillary Clinton calls, “The Vast Right Wing Conspiracy.” He is the perfect puppet; self-absorbed and culturally ignorant.
Reagan was more than a puppet. Reagan was an actor who played the world’s leading role. He did a great job of posing as President. With poise, theatrical timing and scene stealing, he played the part well, perhaps too well. Bush Jr. was also a puppet, groomed by his father, daddy Bush, who was at one time head of the CIA. It’s noted on the CIA’s own website that, “These positions made Bush the only producer (as DCI) and consumer (as President) of intelligence in a single career.”
I strongly believe his unique experience as consumer and producer of intelligence has since given Republicans unfair (and most likely unethical) advantage in every election anywhere and everywhere in the country. It’s clear to me they have been using PSYOPS on Americans even before that. I don’t know if Reagan’s Iran-Contra scandal stalled the manufacture of lies or just made them better at it.
No one thinks Bush 43 was a mental giant. Until Trump came along it could be argued that he was the most inept President in our history. I’m sure he at least is grateful for Trump. Yet being his father’s son, and with his father’s advisors in house, Bush Jr. pushed Iraq War PSYOPS to a whole new level; “In that campaign, intelligence wasn't something to be understood and assessed by the administration in making their decisions, it was a propaganda tool to lead the public to the conclusion that the administration wanted.”
LOOK!! FREE Poll inside below the fold… !!!
One thing is clear: When puppets are placed in power, the value of knowledge is lost. I clearly remember the Iraq War II being another case of officials believing our own propaganda. The count was 935 lies told about Iraq. Can we even count how many lies Trump and his administration have told? Are still telling?
If Bush 43’s use of intelligence was worse than his father’s, Trump is worse still. My dad would have called him “worster,” because each time we think something he’s done is the worst thing he’s ever done, he proves us wrong. It just keeps getting worse and worster. Ironically I think this is due to Bush 41’s legacy of producing and consuming our own secret intelligence. He normalized it.
Trump echoes the extreme right views. He amplifies them and through his arrested development or genuine ignorance, he becomes both the producer and consumer of his own propaganda. Frankly, I think he believes his own bullshit.
He is the Frankenstein monster that walked out of the lab, only this time he is leading the torch wielding mobs instead of running from them. His words fan the flames of bigotry, hatred, and violence as casually as Godzilla breaths fire.
There is only one thing to call what Trump is doing:
STOCHASTIC TERRORISM
|
“Stochastic terrorism is the use of mass communications to incite random actors to carry out violent or terrorist acts that are statistically predictable but individually unpredictable. In short, remote-control murder by lone wolf.”
Conservatives have been screaming for years how we can’t fight terrorism effectively unless we call it by it’s true name. If that’s true, we can’t defeat the wolf in sheep’s clothing unless we name the wolf. It took a ridiculous caricature of a tragedy, but we finally heard a delayed, reluctant admonishment of Right Wing extremism, Nazis and the KKK from Trump.
How many tragedies and how many deaths must we count before we name the terror in the White House? Can we? Dare we? It’s not so easy to fight or defend against the bad wolf when the wolf lives in your house.
Will fear and fake news become our new normal? Is the “Office of Mis-information” alive and well and being used on us instead? Will we remember what we are fighting for? What we stand for? Will we surrender democracy with a whimper and let reality be fashioned for us by those using George Orwell’s writings as a playbook instead of a warning? Are some people more equal than others? Can we wake from this nightmare of our own making? Will we wake? All we have to do is name the terror. Do it. I dare you.
Call it what it is: STOCHASTIC TERRORISM! If we have met the enemy, and it is us, then the only way out of this is to save ourselves. We must be the one’s we’ve been waiting for. Rise up. Speak truth to power. And like every gothic horror novel, if we just call the demon by it’s name it will lose all power and vanish back to the hell from which it came.
In an era of “alternative facts,” facts still matter. Many people have a false perception that we must fight for the truth. The truth is that truth needs no defense. We can spend centuries believing lies; that the world is flat, that we never landed on the moon, or that climate change isn’t real. The truth remains the truth whether we are willing to see it or not. Ultimately the truth will become self evident. How long it takes for us to get there is entirely up to us. Until then, Stochastic Terrorism; it’s what’s for lunch.
