With the latest from SDNY and keeping in mind the other areas where our PCOTUS (Presidenting Criminal Of the US) is in some jeopardy, I have been wondering:
1. Should the new congress hold back on impeachment until the Russian conspiracy investigation is complete, and possibly the emollients case as well, and bundle all that with the campaign finance stuff into one impeachment?
2. What is everyone's opinion about whether Congress is likely to get more than one bite at the impeachment apple without loosing the public? Lets face it, the Senate isn’t looking ready to remove him yet.
3. Is it likely that someone will or has approached the administration about Trump stepping down and in so doing avoid future prosecution for the crimes for which OLC says he cannot be indicted?
For question one, I am aware of Nadler’s comments and don’t believe that he is resisting as much as being honest. There are investigations to complete before we should be making claims about impeaching, and we don’t want to look too eager here IMHO.
