My list of reading and ref materials include Mao’s Little Red Book, Mein Kampf, writings of Lenin, Trotsky, National Review, the Koran, and the Bible, just as an example of the subversive materials i collect and read. Also, the Weekly Standard, just for shits and giggles.
On the other side, I also get Mommy Jones, The nation, the Economist, and a variety of legal and scientific Weekly and monthly journals.
I gotta say, the current war of words between Rep. King and John Podhoretz has been just bloody fantastic. Take this from Podhoretz directed to King:
The problem with this tweet is that you are a foul, disgusting liar and a stain on American public life. The stench of your deceit and your views pollutes your district, your state, your party, and the United States.
Or this:
Steve King is great news for everyone who loves a psychotic piece of filth back bencher
But the best one is this:
I drink your tears, you troglodyte buffoon.
This all came out after Steve King cheered the demise and closing of the Weekly Standard, following up on and partially quoting Trump’s triumphant tweet about its shuttering its doors. King’s quote?
.@RealDonaldTrump is right on The Weekly Standard’s deserved demise (“pathetic and dishonest”). If the articles targeting me were redacted until only truth remained, there would not be much left to read. https://pgj.cc/tmhTuP
