Apologies if I missed the memo, but given the FaceBook/Cambridge Analytical data-sharing fiasco I’ve begun to question the policies that govern data-sharing on all of the several social networking sites that I frequent— FB, Linked In and, yes, DKos. My concerns were heightened by a report this evening on APR’s MarketPlace program that describes how a user’s record of “likes” in response to another contributor’s post were/are used as raw data that can be distilled by 3rd parties to inform my/our political viewpoints. I don’t post original pieces very often but I do try to weigh-in and comment on posts when motivated to do so; I also “like” more posts than I comment on.
So the question to Markos and site admins: Are my activities and proclivities while logged-in to DKos being shared/sold?
