Received this e-mail today from Rep. Conor Lamb (D. PA-17):
In last week’s primaries, voters across Pennsylvania showed they’re excited to elect leaders who will challenge the status quo in Washington and start getting things done for working families.
Pennsylvania is going to be an important battleground in the November elections. We’re going into that battle with a group of energized candidates who are ready to take on the tough fights ahead - whether it's defending programs like Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare, repairing our infrastructure and bringing good jobs back to our state, reducing the soaring costs of prescription drugs, or taking aggressive action to fight the heroin epidemic.
If we are all going to win again in November, we have to work together. That's why we are joining a grassroots effort to support a full ticket of leaders who will fight for Pennsylvania’s priorities in Congress. Ready to get started? Chip in today!
Democrats in Pennsylvania have nominated candidates with diverse backgrounds and experience -- from first-time candidates like Air Force veteran Chrissy Houlahan, and attorneys and advocates like Mary Gay Scanlon, Scott Wallace and Susan Wild, to experienced incumbents like my colleague Congressman Matt Cartwright, Senator Bob Casey and Governor Tom Wolf.
These candidates are ready to get to work, solve problems and create more opportunities for working families all over Pennsylvania -- but we need your help to get them elected.
We know Republican super PACs and special interests are going to spend millions in Pennsylvania to try to defeat us. Congressional races in Pennsylvania are likely to be among the most expensive in the country -- that’s why we need to get to work right now building the grassroots momentum that can beat their big money.
Chip in whatever you can afford to help each of these candidates as we team up to win together in November.
Thank you,
Conor
