Serious question: whose phone line should I be flooding with complaints about ICE human rights violations? (We all know that denouncing it on social media is not enough...)
I've looked around but can't find any sort of organized movement like there was for calling the FCC over Net Neutrality. I’m in Oregon, and my Senators and House Rep are already forcefully against this, so I don’t think I need to pressure them.
The ICE website doesn't have a phone number as far as I can tell.
Unless I'm calling the "Report a Crime" line and repeating ICE's actions back to them. Which I could do! But I would like to know if there would be any sort of legal ramifications to that, akin to filing a false police report or something?
I could write a physical letter to ICE or to the Dept of Homeland Security...? The Justice Department? I could write the local ICE office?
I'm looking for advice on how to scream at the government most effectively in this situation.
Edit: fixed a word in the title
