AT&T learned nothing from their disastrous hiring of Michael Cohen. Now they’ve hired Rex Tillerson’s chief of staff from his time at the State Department, Margaret Peterlin. According to Bloomberg, “Peterlin has begun work as a senior vice president for global external and public affairs, one of several executives reporting to Dallas-based David McAtee, who’s organizing his staff after the acquisition of WarnerMedia.”
Peterlin and Tillerson managed to alienate most of the staff at State; if she does the same at AT&T, a bunch of their current customers will switch to Credo by next year.
