Wonderful! It looks like the FBI is going to do an investigation of Dr. Blasey Ford's allegations of attempted rape against Judge Brett Kavanaugh. I'm assuming that the FBI will speak to both Kavanaugh and his accomplice Mark Judge as well as other witnesses.
Dr. Blasey Ford has had a polygraph and "passed with flying colors." Certainly both Kavanaugh and Judge will want to submit to polygraph tests to support their testimony.
In the past Kavanaugh has discussed the value of the polygraph:
In his [2016] opinion, Kavanaugh concluded that polygraphs are a valuable tool for the government to determine credibility and decide who should be allowed to handle classified information.
As the Government notes, law enforcement agencies use polygraphs to test the credibility of witnesses and criminal defendants. Those agencies also use polygraphs to “screen applicants for security clearances so that they may be deemed suitable for work in critical law enforcement, defense, and intelligence collection roles.”
The Government has satisfactorily explained how polygraph examinations serve law enforcement purposes.
So, when is the Kavanaugh polygraph scheduled? Mark Judge?
Why not this weekend? I'm sure sure the FBI could accommodate. Let's get going!
