There have been many questions about a Mueller report, would Barr block it, would he release it, would he change it, blah blah. Millions of words have been spent on cable news focused on this question. In the name of heaven, Democrats, look at history. Mueller speaks through thorough indictments, not reports. He has issued, what, 35 or 40 indictments so far.
True, he may issue a report, and that’s important. But, as in the case of Watergate, it is mostly about the indictments.
The Attorney General is going to have to power to block Mueller from issuing new indictments. That includes any indictment not yet handed down, and it might include Roger Stone, Julian Assange, Kushner, Corsi, Donald Trump, Jr., and possibly many others. Please, Senators, ask Barr if he would block Mueller from seeking any future indictments that, in Mueller’s discretion, he would seek. You can then ask about indicting the president, but we likely know what he is going to say to that one.
Please, wake up and do it. Ask the questions and the follow-up questions. Now is the time.
