American Indians, who individual-1 has aimed genocide denying words at like bullets, are in the United States' own backyard; however, this is what all the people discuss.
But when it was Tr*mp's Genocide Denial: "Our Ancestors Tamed a Continent," and it was quite apparent "tamed a continent" included genocide of Native Americans - why wasn't that newsworthy? Too close to home, I guess.
White supremacists targeted, vandalized, and murdered Jewish people and their places of worship. It was news everywhere. But when Sons of Condederate Veterans Historian: Osage, Caddo, Kiowa, & Quapaw "Vicious Savages," White Supremacist Paints "Savages, Indians Will Be Gassed" on Chickasaw Office in Okc, DAPL Company Ordered Cultural Genocide, Wants "rogue eco-terrorist groups” Muffled, or Border Patrol Runs Over Tohono O’odham Nation Tribal Member ... what?
If neo - nazis called (insert dehumanization of any ethnic group but white), if nazis vandalized the DNC, or if a white supremacist destroyed multiple churches after forcing attendees out (DAPL forced out people in Inipi Ceremonies and destroyed the lodges), wouldn't it have been made news far and wide? Yes, because it was, when it was a different ethnic group. Furthermore, if any other ethnic group was the victim of its women, specifically, being kidnapped and killed -
- you know the rest. The Democratic Party cares when it's voting time. Get them an address. Funny, reminds me of myself as a teen, who when dating, only cared 'bout one thing. All the Tribal Nations might be in the backyard; but clearly, their concerns are only back seat material.
WASHINGTON - A recent report confirms what Native Americans have always known: Most Americans know little, if anything, about American Indians, and what they do know is based on flawed narratives for which the mainstream media is largely to blame. At the same time, the report by the First Nations Development Institute and Echo Hawk Consulting (EHC) demonstrates media is poised to play an important role in dispelling misconceptions and helping to build new narratives.
