Getting pissed at Republicans giving cover to repeated illegal acts by the president. Need to rant a bit here on what does or does not constitute an impeachable offense.
If an American president, for any reason whatsoever, solicits a foreign leader to interfere with a U.S. election, and that behavior is not considered an impeachable offense, then there never was such a thing; if an American president, for any reason whatsoever, obstructs justice by refusing to allow key fact witnesses to testify before Congress in a duly authorized impeachment hearing, done for the sole corrupt purpose of evading public scrutiny of unlawful behavior, and that behavior is not considered an impeachable offense, then there never was such a thing; and if an American President, for any reason whatsoever, willfully and repeatedly violates explicit prohibitions of the Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution by continuing to profit from business interests at home and abroad, and that behavior is not considered an impeachable offense, then there never was such a thing.
For each of these three violations of both the rule of law and longstanding principles of civilized behavior, if a president is not considered by Republicans in Congress to have committed an impeachable offense, there never was such a thing, and there never will be!
Okay, I’m done.
