This saddens me. I wouldn’t publish this- except, it’s coming right from Joe Biden’s camp

Joe Biden advisers believe coverage of allegations of inappropriate behavior is being stoked by rival Democrats — a dynamic that could actually fire up the vice president at a time when others see success as increasingly improbable.
Why it matters: Several around Biden think advisers to Bernie Sanders are at least partly behind the anti-Biden campaign. One prominent backer thinks Biden will run, and "is ready to kill Bernie."
Bernie has “no reason to doubt” Lucy Flores’ allegation:

But then, neither did Amy Klobuchar or Elizabeth Warren. No prominent Democrat is coming to Biden’s defense.
A network reporter said they had to not defend him so as not to appear to have a “double standard”. Which is hilarious because we know how many times Republicans have been held accountable for inappropriate behavior. None.
Lucy Flores has said “it wasn’t sexual “ and she would vote for Biden over Trump if that were the choice. www.google.com/...
It reeks that this is coming out five years after the fact. Everyone knows this about Biden, why bring it up now? If this is about a woman’s right not to be touched, saying something five years later isn’t going to accomplish much. Because it’s acceptable behavior for a Vice President but not a president?
Sonething is wrong with this picture when the person who brags about assaulting women gets away with it (and the only one who paid a price is the person forced to listen to it) but the person who has no idea he did something wrong is pilloried.
Either way — whether Bernie really did this ir Biden is making up false accusations, it sucks for democrats
