Governor Cuomo is going after the NRA hard and urging other states to follow his example.
“If I could have put the NRA out of business, I would have done it 20 years ago,” the governor said late Friday after Attorney General Barbara Underwood filed a motion to dismiss the NRA’s suit. He added on Saturday: “I'm tired of hearing the politicians say, we'll remember them in our thoughts and prayers. If the NRA goes away, I'll remember the NRA in my thoughts and prayers."

The article goes on to say that this is probably politically motivated, what with an election coming up. I’m just glad it is happening at all, regardless of the reason.
Sorry to say, but so far no other states are stepping up to follow this example.
