The campaign is being treated as a reality TV show, and he who must not be named is winning. There are various diaries suggesting some approaches to the debates, but if the candidates really mean that the most important thing is to defeat Trump, then instead of having a few “debates” run by the Republican ownd media, they really need to get the message out.
Here are a couple of suggestions:
Instead of, or in addition to the so called “debates”, they would split up into 4 or 5 groups of four, and hold discussions, or town halls, once a week, without a moderator asking questions. They could say that yes, there are differences between our favorite health care plans, but in the end congress will iron out the differences, and if we get enough senators, it will pass. If not,, well you know the real Republican health care plan.
The idea must be to get the actual democratic party policies contrasted with the republicans. In the last election, the party allowed the republicans to dominate the conversation for far too long.
If not, then they MUST ignore or bend the questions, and use their time to say: Gotcha question, so I will ignore it and tell you about why we need to rid the country of the terrorists and their enablers.
