I was born in Dayton. At Miami Valley Hospital.
I know that the images and video released by Trump’s propaganda crew are just that...propaganda, but just seeing the jubilation and smiles still makes me mad.
I wrote to the hospital to let them know that not everyone is happy with this. I’m tired of staying silent, and letting all of this wash over me. Even if doesn’t change anything, I’m still going to speak out.

I'm in the process of moving my 84-year old mother back from Florida, and will be helping her get her medical relationships and protocols re-established in Dayton.
I wish I did not have to ask this question of the hospital I was born in, but I mean it sincerely and without malice: will a person who is not a Trump supporter receive equal care at Miami Valley?
I am honestly shocked to see so many smiling faces, thumbs up, and selfies being taken while the city and citizens of Dayton are reeling from this weekend's violence. It feels like a slap in the face, and makes me question if members of your staff are a danger to patients who don't agree with them. The photographs that are being shared with the world show a serious lack of judgement and professionalism. |
