Credit to Dave Wasserman at Cook Political Report — I heard him mention this a few days ago on NPR. Sumter County is home to The Villages; the average age of a voter is 68.5; and here are the 2016 results:
Sumter County

Here is the county’s voting status as of this morning:
NOVEMBER 3, 2020
LAST UPDATED 11/3/2020 8:50:02 AM
ACTIVE ELIGIBLE VOTERS 105,612
TOTAL BALLOTS CAST 85,741
PERCENT TURNOUT 81.18%
That’s 10,000 more votes than 2016, and all before today. Sumter will still go GOP; the question will be, by how much. If it’s significantly closer than 2016, Dave thinks Florida will be in Biden’s column.
Then Pennsylvania’s results probably don’t matter. Here’s the
link to watch for the County’s results — and, just for LOLs, to see how
Don Blankenship is doing.
Stay safe and sane tonight and tomorrow.
