The Corvid-19 virus is coming, is here. A little light reading is in order.
Non-Fiction
The Great Influenza by John Barry
A worse case scenario would be if the Corvid-19 virus tracks the same way as the 1918 Spanish Flu. It first appeared spring 1918, late in the flu season, and retreated during the summer months. This led the public to decide the worst was over. It returned with murderous rage the following fall and winter. Things were made worse by government censorship afraid that telling the truth and giving out sound advice would hurt the war effort.
The deaths didn't subside until virtually ever person on the face of the earth had been exposed. The Spanish Flu killed 50 million people worldwide. A similar pandemic in 2020 would kill in excess of 200 million.
