We’ve all seen the images of bare store shelves as our herd has an obsessive need to acquire a lifetime supply of rolls of soft narrow paper and a bottled substance that is safely and reliably available in most every home or business. As a result supply chains are breaking- I’ve heard UPS drivers tell of their trucks being half full of TP. Meanwhile, the scientists are telling us that we need to practice better basic hygiene and social distancing, which sure as heck isn’t happening in crowded stores! But no doubt your heirs will marvel at your overflowing stash of TP and bottled water as they clean out your house after you died from the Coronavirus pandemic you were trying to stock up for.
So it’s time to leave the herd and follow the scientists survival advice- Avoid crowds, stay home if you can, and don’t go out to shop or order online unless you NEED it NOW. The supply chain needs a break to catch up, and the people working in it and in retail would rather not be exposed to hundreds of possible Coronavirus carriers a day!
