Officer commits suicide.
Officer Howard Liebengood, Capitol Police Officer who had Senate duty and was on duty during the insurrection, has committed suicide.
Former Capitol Police Chief Terrance Gainer told CBS News reporter Michael Kaplan that “Officer Liebengood was on the Hill on Wednesday, and called Liebengood’s death a ‘line of duty casualty’ — no less a line of duty casualty than Officer Sicknick’s,” wrote CBS correspondent Nancy Cordee on Twitter.
I have struggled with suicidal depression for decades and this hits real close to the heart. I imagine — and I may be very wrong — but as a depressed person I imagine the self-recriminations, the feelings that you failed, that you were not enough attacking this man over and over in his mind. I am a theist so I pray that whatever G-d he believed in takes him home; and if he did not believe that he return to the Earth and contribute to new life and growth.
Now, let’s find us a Nazi.
Action is the remedy to powerlessness and Bellingcat on Twitter is hunting the bastard who grabbed a police officer by his helmet and dragged him down the stairs where he was beaten ruthlessly. Let’s be clear about what Bellingcat is doing — open sourcing information to give to the FBI. This isn’t about doxxing. This is about tips for law enforcement.
the clip in the tweet below is very disturbing.
This is our guy.
Hop on twitter and join the hunt. Let’s do some citizen sleuthing and find this bastard.
