Immediately after the shock and horror of Wednesday’s attack on the Capital Building and on democracy itself, it almost seemed like there was a moment where the Republicans were just as outraged and shocked as the Democrats, but the feeling of brief unity did not last. The Republicans soon huddled in a room to discuss their strategy going forward and came up with blaming the violence and deaths on fictional Antifa. Fox News immediately ran with it, Washington Times ran the story, then retracted it, Republican politicians started parroting it, and Trump supporters blindly accepted it as fact.
Five people are now dead because of lies and the Republicans and Fox News have no shame, no remorse and are refusing to recognize their role, let alone their responsibility as a public figure that they have. The hashtag #TedCruzisacopkiller has been trending on Twitter, and Josh Hawley has lost his book deal. This is NOT enough. These people need to be held accountable and one way to do it is to target their donors and advertisers.
There is already a lot of chatter on K Street about the coming consumer backlash to businesses who donate to Republicans. Let’s do out part to make sure these businesses are shamed for supporting sedition.

The cable television long ago disappeared in my house, so I do not know who the advertisers are for Fox News, but the most prominent advertiser on their website is Ameritrade and Pulte Homes. Please add other advertisers and contacts in the comments.
