For all of the faults of education, media, and the Web, more information than disinformation usually gets out, especially when social media fact-check and block bots and trolls. In Spanish, not so much. Facebook is rightly getting hammered on this right now, and over revelations of the extent to which it has generally put profits over human welfare, notably including attacks on democracy and body-shaming young girls. Elizabeth Warren is getting increasing support for bringing down the antitrust hammer on Facebook and other such offenders.
Facebook in Spanish has started to get the attention it deserves, in Spanish and in English, although Gringos generally still have no idea about it. Some say

Facebook is failing to enforce its own rules against falsehoods about COVID-19, vaccines, election fraud and conspiracy theories when it comes to posts in Spanish, according to a coalition of advocacy groups.
"There is a gap, quite an enormous gap, in fact, in English and Spanish-language content moderation," Jessica González, co-CEO of the advocacy group Free Press, told NPR.

FALSE: The statements of doctor Chinda Brandolino about the vaccines against the coronavirus are false.
Explanation: Vaccines against the coronavirus do not contain a "metallic solution" that magnetizes the area where you receive the injection as stated by the doctor.
Every time those with this particular bee in their bonnets try to demonstrate this effect, they falsify it live, often on video. But they prefer to believe the “experts” rather than their own lying eyes.
I presume that this all provides some sort of satisfaction that I wot not of, like
- Alcohol and other drugs
- Gambling
- War
- White Supremacy
and so on. But then they can’t imagine how satisfying truth is for me.
