No need to appoint a special prosecutor unless there are indictments forthcoming, I suspect. I’m sure a lot of people will have all kinds of opinions before we know what is going on. I like this take:
What this will do is consolidate some disparate investigations and grand jury results under one prosecutor focused on prosecuting the Big Loser. People already working the cases will presumably be working their cases still, they’ll just have a new director for their inquiries.
Remember “we don't know what we don't know” but you can read the comments of those who know it all already below, no doubt. Why wait a few minutes until we actually know something?
