I’m a poll observer in the Milwaukee County suburb of Wauwatosa. There are 3 wards voting here and the lines have been long since the polls opened at 7am central. These 3 wards were 2-1 Democratic in 2020. It’s been a mixture of young and old with a large number of women. Wisconsin allows same day registration and there’s been at least 25 new registrants in the hour and a half since opening. This seems much more like a presidential election turnout than a midterm. Mail in and in person early voting has been above the 2018 levels here as well.
