Just got an email from a group called STAND-UP and I was so impressed with how smart their strategy was for fighting voter suppression that I sent them some money. They pretty much neutralize SB202 without actually breaking the law. If you are so inclined, you can donate to them here. If you are in Georgia, you can volunteer here.
Here’s the email explaining what they are doing:
The runoff election day is almost here! I wanted to recognize the vital work that Georgia STAND-UP and their (c)(4) arm, We Vote. We Win., have been doing to activate and protect the vote throughout the runoff cycle.
Georgia STAND-UP refused to let SB 202 wreak havoc on our democracy. To circumvent the law's blatant attempt at voter suppression and depression, STAND-UP created the Party at the Polls.
Stationed more than 150 feet away from the polling site, STAND-UP's Party at the Polls is the light at the end of the tunnel for voters waiting or preparing to wait in line for hours.
Voters can grab snacks, nonpartisan voter resources, chairs, beverages, and a free hot meal from any of the food trucks that line the block!
Our Party at the Polls fills the entire block with music, giving voters in line something to smile about.

orgia STAND-UP has now organized 21 Parties at the Polls this election season, engaging with thousands of voters.
It is no coincidence that Metropolitan Library, the polling site targeted by our Party at the Polls, has experienced the highest voter turnout in Fulton County this year.
The lines have never been longer–not because of SB 202 but in spite of it.
Voters from all across Fulton County decided to early vote at Metropolitan because they knew STAND-UP would be there to celebrate them.
As we near our final Party at the Polls on election Tuesday, it is all hands on deck to make this last one a blowout!
