Sir,
I was born a long time after the land you govern was stolen from it's inhabitants.
I was born a long time after human beings whether from the new world or the old, were robbed, robbed of their labor, robbed of their land, robbed of any semblance of what the Founding Fathers called "life, liberty and the pursuit of hapiness".
None of that was my fault. I wasn't even born.
But as a decent human being, standing upon this stolen land and and the fruits of those broken backs, the slavery and all that death, standing there, with my aircon, my home, my freedom, please explain why I should not feel uncomfortable about the skeletons under my feet?
