The boys have it. The days are longer, the weather is nice, their porch is open (well some of the time) and the rampaging has continued.
Oh the squabbles. Oh the playful brawls. Oh the 3AM crashes as Mom’s favorite coffee cup goes toppling. You’d think these boys were kittens instead of 8 and 9 years old, respectively.
And the racket is not just indoors. It is spring, and the geese and ducks are back. The air outside is thunderous with the sound of goose calls and duck calls. The street in front of my trailer is a main thoroughfare for geese and ducks on their way to the lake (Freddie would NOT like my porch I am afraid). The boys watch in fascination as hundreds of them march in formation down the street to jump in Poplar Lake at the end of the block. (Poplar “Lake” is more like an overgrown pond — but it is called a lake — and this is the City of Lakes, after all.)
Time to go get some pansy bowls. Even Dad feels it. He wants to go get new plants for his kitchen window. I will help Mr. Brown Thumb, of course. If he follows my instructions exactly, he won’t kill them.
Happy Monday all! I hope the weather is fine where you are today and your critters are thriving. Stay safe. Hugs.
- A gentle reminder of how we do things: 🐱🐶🐦
- Do not troll the diary. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
- Please do share pics of your fur kids! If you have health/behavior issues with your pets, feel free to bring it to the community.
- Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Birds... are birds! Peeps are people.
- Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. If you’re having “issues” with another Kossack, keep it “out there.” This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
- There are some pics we never post: snakes, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated. If we alert you to it, PLEASE REMOVE THE PIC FROM THE IMAGE LIBRARY. If you keep posting banned pics...well then...the Tigress will have to take matters in hand. Or, paw.
