1. Did I pay for this? If I heard WUSF-FM, my NPR affiliate correctly, the legislature provided DeSantis with the funds to charter the two planes. Does that mean it was tax money?
2. Who is Perla? I have no idea if she is a human trafficker, a kidnapper, or what, but sketches need to be built, a person identified, and that person needs to be held at the very least for questioning. For that matter, I want to know the names of every perp for this operation.
3. What role did Ashley Moody play in the decision to cross state lines to kidnap a bunch of foreign nationals? Moody continues to file spurious lawsuits, in violation of her Florida bar oath. Has the Florida Attorney General progressed to accessory to kidnapping?
4. Why is no one in the media challenging the claim, both here and in DeSantis political advertising, that the Biden immigration policy in any way resembles open borders?
5 Why do both of Florida senators illegally acquiesce to a state official usurping their Constitutional role in setting immigration policy? Article 1 says the Congress sets foreign policy. SCOTUS said in 1909 that this includes immigration policy. Congress in 2003 authorized the Department of Homeland Security to enforce immigration law.
5. Whom did the DeSantis administration charter the flight with, and were they informed of what they were doing? What does the flight plan contain?
OK, that’s enough to start.
UPDATEE: Comments have prompted . . .
6. Have the two plans been secured and are they and the four airports involved being treated as a crime scene? The absence of flight plan, notification to destination et al seems at the very least to pose a violation of TSA regulations. DeSantis is a monster, but one with reelection and future election ambitions. What is to prevent a monster with no future ambitions from simply crashing the planes into Edgartown’s town hall or the Obama vacation home?
