This is a pretty short note. Back when the Balticconnector pipeline was damaged, there was a lot of speculation (here at DK, and elsewhere) about it being a deliberate Russian attack. It now appears it was the anchor of a Chinese ship. There is not yet evidence as to whether the incident was accidental or deliberate, and it could easily be either. (And yes, if deliberate, then it would likely have been done in collaboration with the Russians.)
