Can someone please provide some evidence, or at least some convincing reasoning that any of the following points are incorrect?
1. Donald John Trump is a Russian asset.
2. The Republican majority in the House is now (since Speaker Johnson) wholly compromised, supporting Trump in all ways currently available to them.
3. The Republican coupling of border policy and Ukraine funding was designed to be a poison pill, hamstringing the efforts of representative governments around the world to prevent or at least postpone the rise of authoritarianism.
I hope that none of these are true, and I don’t consider myself to be particularly susceptible to conspiracy theories, but together those points seem to cut the Gordian knot pretty well. I’m not asking for proof, mind you, just any evidence or reasoning that would suggest any of these are not true.
Can anyone name one thing that’s not consistent with these points?
